Crustless Turkey Sausage Quiche Recipe
- 1 pkg. breakfast turkey sausage (original or possibly mild)
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper (1 sm.)
- 2 1/2 ounce. sliced liquid removed mushrooms
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 4 Large eggs
- 1/4 c. lowfat sour cream
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook sausage and green pepper over medium heat till no longer pink, about 10 min.
- Drain.
- Reserve 1/2 c. of cooked sausage.
- Stir in mushrooms and pour into greased 9-inch pie plate.
- Sprinkle on cheese.
- Mix Large eggs and lowfat sour cream and add in lowfat milk.
- Pour over sausage and cheese in pie pan.
- Sprinkle reserved 1/2 c. sausage on top and bake for 35 min.
- Let stand for 10 min.
- Can be served for a "very special" breakfast or possibly for lunch or possibly dinner with a salad.
