Teriyaki Meat-Stuffed Peppers
- 3 to 4 Green bell peppers
- 100 grams Ground beef or pork
- 1/2 Onion (finely chopped)
- 1/2 Egg
- 2 to 3 tablespoons Panko
- 1 dash Nutmeg, salt and pepper
- 1 Teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp Plain flour
- Slice the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- Combine the ingredients to make the meat stuffing.
- Dust the cut peppers inside with flour using a tea strainer.
- Stuff the peppers with the meat stuffing from Step 1.
- Pan fry the peppers on both sides in a frying pan with oil.
- When the peppers are cooked through, add the teriyaki sauce and simmer over a low heat.
- Make sure not to let it burn.
- When the sauce is glossy, it's done.
