Mom's Chinese Chicken Salad
- 4 ounces grilled chicken, shredded
- 1 iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 (4 ounce) can water chestnuts
- sesame seeds, toasted
- toasted almond, sliced
- 1 (6 ounce) can chow mein noodles
- 1 (4 ounce) can mandarin oranges
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 14 cup sugar
- 13 cup soy sauce
- 14 cup sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 dash Lawry's Seasoned Salt
- grill chicken, shred.
- in a seperate bowl, prepare dressing, mix with a whisk.
- put salad ingredients and chicken together and toss.
- do not add dressing until ready to serve.
