Vickys Easter Baskets / Mothers Day Cupcakes (A Decorating Idea)

• 4 cupcakes from any recipe
• 1 buttercream of any flavour/colour although green for 'grass' is good
• 4 strawberry cables/liquorice cables
• 1 sugarpaste or wafer flowers

1. Frost the cupcakes with the icing of your choice.
2. Brown or green are both good as soil or grass
3. Push a strawberry cable sweet into the top of each cupcake to make the basket 'handle'
4. Decorate the cake with the sugarpaste or wafer flowers to make a pretty easter or mothers day basket!
5. A nice touch is to bake the cupcakes in brown basket coloured cases, or I've seen cupcake wraps that look like woven baskets that are very cute.
6. You could also tie a fruit leather bow onto the basket handle
