Jalapeno BBQ Sauce
- 12 sm. jalapenos, seeded and diced
- 2 lb. BBQ sauce (can be store bought)
- 4 tbsp. cayenne pepper
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup whiskey
- In a medium saucepan, carefully heat the whiskey over medium heat until it catches fire.
- Let the alcohol burn off, leaving about 1/2 a cup of whiskey reduced.
- Add butter, jalapenos, BBQ sauce, cayenne and the honey; let it simmer for about 1 hour.
- Stirring frequently.
- Pull off the heat and let cool to room temperature.
- You can store in bottles in the fridge for up 1 month.
