Soft and Chewy Chocolate Drops

  1. Microwave unsweetened chocolate and butter 2 minutes or until butter is melted.
  2. Stir until chocolate is smooth.
  3. Add sugar and mix well.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add flour and mix well.
  7. Cover and refridgerate 1 hour to make dough easier to handle.
  8. Shape into 1" balls and place on cookie sheets.
  9. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes or just until set.
  10. Do not overbake!
  11. Let stand 1 minutes and remove from cookie sheet.
  12. Cool completely before glazing.
  13. Put frozen Cool Whip and semi-sweet chocolate in a bowl and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes or unti chocolate is melted and mixture is shiny and smooth.
  14. Wait 1 minute before stirring.
  15. Stir and let stand 15 minutes to thicken.
  16. Spread over cookies and let stand until glaze is set.
  17. **Can be garnished with Christmas sprinkles or frosting to make holly and berries.
