Merry Cherry Cheesecake Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine all crumb mixture ingredients in small bowl.
  3. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  4. Reserve 1/2 cup crumb mixture.
  5. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of ungreased 8-inch square baking pan.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  7. Combine all filling ingredients except cherries in same bowl.
  8. Beat at medium speed until smooth.
  9. Stir in cherries by hand.
  10. Spread filling over crust.
  11. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  12. Continue baking for 18 to 20 minutes or until filling is set.
  13. Cut into bars while warm.
  14. Cover; store refrigerated.
