Beef and Guiness Pie

  1. Soften onion and garlic in pan
  2. Add meat and brown
  3. Transfer to slow cooker
  4. Add remaining ingredients (except egg and pastry) to ask slow cooker
  5. Cook for 8 hrs on low or 4 hrs on high
  6. Preheat oven to 190F
  7. Spoon stew into ramekins
  8. Cover with pastry and brush on egg
