Dhara: Zaike Ka Safar: Tarela Machhi
- 1-3/4 lb. pomfret
- 1/2 oz. garlic
- 4 red chilies
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds
- 1 tsp. ground turmeric
- 5 oz. potato
- 3 fl. oz. oil
- Cut fins, slit flesh and wash well.
- Grind all the masala with approximately 20 grams oil.
- Salt the fish and drain the moisture.
- Apply the masala and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a frying pan until it smokes, and fry the fish.
- Turn over gently and fry the other side.
- Do not handle the fish or the skin will come off.
- Cut potatoes into 1-1/2-inch x 1/2 cm.
