Creamed Green Bean Soup Recipe

  1. Wash green beans and cut in half.
  2. Cover green beans with water in a 4 qt pot; add in salt and let boil till green beans are soft, for about 1 hour.
  3. Add in onion and 1 stick butter to green bean mix.
  4. Pour 1 can of evaporated lowfat milk into a jar or possibly blender and add in 3 Tbsp.
  5. flour.
  6. Blend till smooth, not lumpy.
  7. Remove pot from burner, add in lowfat milk mix and return to the burner.
  8. Stir constantly for about 15 min or possibly till soup thickens.
