Breakfast Waffles With Nutmeg Recipe

  1. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.
  2. Sift flour, sugar, baking pwdr, nutmeg and salt into a bowl.
  3. Combine lowfat milk, egg yolks and oil till well mixed.
  4. Pour into flour mix and mix till just combined.
  5. Beat egg whites to soft peaks and fold into batter.
  6. Cook waffles according to manufacturer's directions.
  7. Serve with butter, maple syrup or possibly honey.
  8. This recipe yields 6 servings.
