Apple Crumb Pie
- 5 apples, peeled, cored, sliced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 13 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 4 12 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 14 cup caramel sauce
- 1 pie crust
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 34 cup flour
- 14 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 14 cup caramel sauce
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Toss apples with lemon juice and vanilla.
- Combine the sugars, cinnamon, and cornstarch and add to apple mixture and toss to coat.
- Pour caramel sauce in the bottom of pie crust;
- Add apple mixture to pie crust.
- Drizzle with melted butter.
- In a another bowl, combine the flour and sugar.
- Add butter until mixture is crumbly.
- Sprinkle over filling.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Cool on a wire rack.
