Chinese Rice Casserole Recipe
- 1 lg. green pepper, diced
- 1 lg. onion, diced
- 1 can mushroom pcs (4 ounce.) drain & reserve liquid
- 1 1/4 c. uncooked minute rice
- Dash of salt & pepper
- Garlic pwdr to taste
- 1/4 jar LaChoy brown gravy
- 3/4 of a sm. bottle soy sauce
- 1/2 c. chicken soup or possibly 1 chicken bouillon cube; dissolve in 1 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. boiled water plus liquid from mushrooms
- Saute/fry vegetables.
- Add in mushrooms, rice, spices and sauces.
- Add in boiled liquids and cover pan.
- Cook over low heat till done, about 5-10 min.
- Serves 4.
