Pork Shepherd Pie (with Italian flair)

  1. Preheat oven to 300F.
  2. Cook onion and pork and Italian seasoning on med heat until onions are soft and pork is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Drain mixed veggies and add to meat mixture.
  5. Cook on med heat until veggies are hot.
  6. Prepare mashed potatoes according to directions on package.
  7. Pour meat mixture into round casserole pan, or square, as you desire.
  8. Put mashed potatoes in and spread and level them out.
  9. Sprinkle Italian style shredded cheese on top.
  10. Cook at 300F in the oven for 10-20 minutes or until cheese starts to melt and become golden brown.
