Asian Noodle Salad Recipe

  1. Stir together soy sauce, vinegar, oil, red pepper flakes, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Cook linguine in a large pot of boiling salted water till just tender, then drain in a colander and rinse under cool water till cold.
  3. Toss with dressing, carrot, scallions, sesame seeds, and radishes in a large bowl.
  4. serves 6 as a side dish
  5. Cooks' note:o Toast seeds in a dry heavy skillet over moderate heat, stirring till fragrant and a shade or possibly two darker.
  6. Or possibly, toast in a shallow baking pan in a 350 F oven, 5 - 10 min.
