Beef and Pasta Pie
- 34 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 16 ounces crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt
- pepper
- 12 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated and divided
- 4 ounces whole wheat fettuccine
- 12 cup egg white
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- parsley, chopped
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- Brown beef and onion in a skillet.
- Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper (to taste) and bring to a boil.
- Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.

- Add mozzarella and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese and let stand for 10 minutes.
- Cook fettucine.
- Combine 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, egg whites, butter, parsley, and garlic powder.
- Stir into the hot noodles.
- Spoon onto tomato mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 15-20 minutes.
- Let stand for 5 minutes.
