- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1 medium tomato
- 3 medium potatoes
- 3 tbsp corn seeds (boiled and crushed)
- 1 tsp chilly powder or flakes
- 4 medium Buns
- Slice 1 medium cucumber into about 7mm slices
- Take 2 medium onions and slice them into full /Half slices add per your choice.
- Do not chop/dice them.
- Place a pan on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon butter.
- Add the cucumbers and onions to this and toss gently.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add tomato to this if you like.
- I like to keep the raw cruch in tomatoes hence added them last .
- Keep the preparation aside.
- Boil 3 medium potatoes and mash them coarsely.
- Add salt, pepper powder and chilly flakes to taste.
- I added some crushed boiled corn as well.
- If you plan to add them, make sure to stain the water out of them.
- Use a cookie cutter to make round shaped tablets of the potato mix.
- Since I'm not into baking i used a jar cap and polythene sheet instead
- Your potato patties should look fairly round like this.
- Use the same pan used for butter tossed veggies as the greased pan will help to cut back on some butter.
- Start on gentle heat till the patty feels done and then raise to high to give it that golden red crust.
- Slice the buns in half and run them across the same pan with sliced faces down.
- This will add some buttery flavour to them.
- Serve hot
