Sweet Carrot Marinade
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 clove garlic minced
- 3 chopped green onion stalks
- 2 cup baby carrots
- Mix all ingredients together with a spoon in a dish that can go on the bbq (I used a metal loaf pan).
- (We wanted to have a quick BBQ so I started these off in the oven first for 30 minutes at 400F, alternatively you could cook them for a couple hours or to desired softness on indirect heat on the BBQ the whole time).
- Finished off on the BBQ (direct heat) for 30 minutes for a softer less crunchy carrot (still somewhat crunchy though).
