Floating Fruit Parfaits

  1. Divide fruit evenly among 6 parfait glasses.
  2. Stir boiling water into gelatin in bowl 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  3. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1 cup.
  4. Add to gelatin; stir until ice is melted.
  5. Pour 3/4 cup of the gelatin over fruit in glasses.
  6. Refrigerate 20 minutes or until gelatin is set but not firm.
  7. Add 1 cup of the whipped topping to remaining gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
  8. Spoon over gelatin in glasses.
  9. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
  10. Top with remaining whipped topping just before serving.
