Coffee Cardamom Brisket Rub

  1. Combine all the ingredients, except the oil, in a bowl or food processor and stir or process to mix.
  2. Stir in enough oil to make a thick paste.
  3. The rub should be used the day it's made.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until using.
  5. *Smear the rub on the brisket on all sides and place in a roasting pan.
  6. Marinate, covered, in the refrigerator, for at least 4 hours, or as long as overnight.
