Roasted French Toast
- 8 slice hearty white bread
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 2 c. eggnog
- 2 large eggs
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Butter an 18-inch by 12-inch jelly-roll pan.
- Arrange bread in single layer on one side.
- Arrange apple slices on other side; dot with butter.
- In a bowl, whisk eggnog and eggs.
- Slowly pour over bread to soak.
- Roast 25 minutes or until browned.
