Buttery Brow Sugar and Irish Whiskey Poached Bananas

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the butter until it melts.
  2. Add the brown sugar and pour in the whiskey.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar dissolves.
  4. Place bananas to the skillet and simmer until bananas are tender and glazed with the syrup, turning over bananas once or twice in order to be evenly coated.
  5. Serve with ice cream, frozen yoghurt or frozen pie.
