Lemon Garlic Mushrooms
- 1 pack (big plastic container) of fresh mushrooms quartered.
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 tbsp of lemon
- 3 clove of garlic cut in half
- 1 tsp of dried basil
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- 1 Salt and pepper for seasoning
- - Melt butter in a large skillet, add the olive oil and garlic.
- - Add the mushrooms and lemon juice.
- Sautee for a couple of minutes on high heat.
- - Add the basil, oregano, salt and pepper and remove from heat while mushrooms are still firm.
- Do not let mushrooms release water and get soggy.
- - You may serve with parmesan shavings on the top.
- If you are green onion fans you may also add to the recipe, saute them a bit before adding the mushrooms.
