Easy Custard Cream
- 2 Egg yolks
- 200 ml Milk
- 50 grams Granulated sugar
- 30 grams Flour
- 1 Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 Rum (optional)
- Sift the flour once.
- Combine the sugar and egg yolks.
- Add the sifted flour into Step 2, and mix without making lumps.
- Add the milk into Step 3 little by little, and mix well.
- Transfer Step 4 to a heatproof bowl, and microwave for 1 minute.
- Take it out, and stir well.
- Then microwave for another 30 seconds.
- Take it out, and stir well, then microwave for another 30 seconds.
- Stir well until the mixture is no longer lumpy.
- Repeat this process about 3 times.
- Adjust the sweetness with the honey or sugar, add rum if you like, and mix.
- When it becomes your preferred consistency, it's done.
