Pasta With Garlic Lemon Sauce
- 1 lb pasta (linguine, fedelini, fettuccine, etc)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 -4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, zest of
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon ground pepper
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Boil water and begin cooking noodles as directed.
- Melt butter in medium saucepan, add garlic and lemon zest, cook on medium heat stirring frequently to keep garlic from burning.
- Add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Take off heat while you strain pasta and return to pan.
- Stir sauce while adding lemon juice, and half of parmesan cheese until incorporated.
- Toss pasta with sauce, sprinkle remaining parmesan on pasta.
- Enjoy :).
- (I like mine with extra lemon, so I like to add an extra squeeze on top of the pasta on my plate).
