Diet Custard Recipe
- 2 c. skim lowfat milk
- 4 Large eggs, beaten
- Artificial sweetener to taste (usually amount equivalent to 2 tbsp. sugar)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Dash nutmeg
- Scald lowfat milk.
- Add in lowfat milk to egg and mix well.
- Add in vanilla and sweetener.
- Add in nutmeg.
- Pour into four custard c. that have been rinsed with cool water.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 45 min.
- 1 serving - 100 gm = 6 cholesterol, 4 protein, 6 fat.
- 1/2 c. = 1/2 skim lowfat milk and 1 fat.
