Chikuwa Fishcake and Potato Oven Bake

  1. Boil the potato until it's soft enough for a bamboo skewer to go through easily.
  2. Add mayonnaise and mix.
  3. Use less mayonnaise than the amount of potato.
  4. Cut the chikuwa into 4 pieces.
  5. Place the potato mayonnaise from Step 1 into the groove of the chikuwa.
  6. Lay the chikuwa from Step 3 on a casserole or gratin dish.
  7. Squeeze over mayonnaise and add pizza cheese on top.
  8. Bake in a toaster oven.
  9. Once the cheese has melted and browned, it's done.
