Herbed Potatoes Recipe
- 3 pound sm. white potatoes (12 med. size)
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 2 teaspoon marjoram leaves, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon thyme, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon salt
- If using fresh herbs, double the amount
- Scrub potatoes, cut into thin slices.
- Place into buttered casserole dish.
- Pour melted butter over potatoes.
- Sprinkle with salt, marjoram and thyme.
- Cover casserole tightly.
- Bake in preheated 400 degree oven till tender, about 1 hour or possibly 1 1/2 hrs.
- Serves 5-6.
