Six O'clock Swirls With Stuffed Oranges Recipe
- 1 pound grnd ham
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 1/2 c. well liquid removed crushed pineapple
- 2 c. mashed seasoned potatoes
- 2 c. cooked ham
- 2 c. peas
- 1 can whole kernel corn, cooked
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tbsp. veg. oil
- Combine ham, egg, cloves and pineapple.
- Pt out into a rectangle 1/2 inch thick on waxed paper.
- Spread potatoes proportionately over meat and roll up.
- Cut into 1 inch slices, place peas and corn in bottom of broiler pan.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper and veg.
- oil.
- Broil 5 inches from broiler unit for 10 min.
- Cut oranges in half and scoop out pulp.
- Mix pulp with cherries and fill orange shells.
- Dribble some honey over each half.
- Turn meat and place oranges on rack.
- Continue broiling 8 to 10 min.
- Serves 8.
