Colonial Cheddar Soup
- 1/3 cup shredded carrots Target 2 lb For $3.00 thru 02/06
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- dash pepper
- 1 qt. (4 cups) milk
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Cook and stir vegetables in butter in large saucepan on medium-high heat 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Blend in flour and seasonings; cook and stir 2 min.
- or until hot and bubbly.
- Gradually add milk; cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Add cheese; cook and stir on low heat until melted.
