Boysenberry Sorbet Recipe
- 4 ounce frzn Boysenberries
- 3 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. lemon juice
- Mix water, sugar and lemon juice into a pan.
- Simmer on low for about 15 min.
- Remove from heat and add in the Boysenberries.
- Let stand 15 min.
- Strain.
- Pour into a shallow dish so which juice is no deeper than 1 inch.
- Freeze thoroughly.
- To serve, scoop with ice cream scoop or possibly melon scoop.
- This recipe yields eight 1/2-c. servings.
