Every Day Vegan Brownies
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 34 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
- 12 cup chocolate chips, vegan
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Line 9 inch pan with parchment or non-stick foil.
- mix 1/2 c of the flour and the water.
- Whisk over medium heat until thick and glue-like.
- Cool.
- Mix together sugars, salt, cocoa, and baking powder.
- Add oil and vanilla and stir.
- Add water and flour mixture, stir to combine, and incorporate remaining 1 1/2C flour.
- Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
- Pour into pan and bake for 25 minutes.
