Pineapple Nut Drop Cookies Recipe

• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. white sugar
• 1/2 c. shortening
• 1/2 c. crushed pineapple
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1/4 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 2 c. flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla or possibly almond flavoring
• 1/2 c. minced nuts

1. Cream sugar and shortening; add in egg, pineapple and mix.
2. Add in flavoring and flour sifted with soda, baking pwdr and salt.
3. Add in nuts last.
4. Drop in small spoonfuls on greased cooked sheet.
5. And bake in oven at 425 degrees for 10 min.
6. Can frost cookies if you want with frosting made from confectioner's sugar and pineapple juice.
