Easy Pie Crust

  1. Add the flour and butter into a bowl.
  2. Keep mashing with your fingertips.
  3. Keep doing it (for about 3 minutes) until there are no more butter lumps, so that it becomes grainy.
  4. Gradually add the water until it's about the same softness as your earlobes.
  5. Mash it again with your fingertips instead of kneading.
  6. When it starts to come together, form into a ball without kneading, and cover with plastic wrap.
  7. Put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let it rest, and you're done!
  8. Use the crust in this "Kabocha Squash Pie"
