Frozen Strawberry Pie
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3/4 cup strawberries
- 2 each egg whites
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 each pie shell (9 inch)
- Beat egg whites until fluffy.
- Add berries, lemon juice, sugar and beat no less than 15 minutes.
- Whip cream until thick; fold into other mixture.
- Pour into prepared pie shell and freeze until ready to serve.
- (Graham cracker shell works well).
- Other berries or fruit may be substitued for the strawberries.
- Alternative: Use one 12 oz.
- container Cool Whip or other non- dairy topping instead of cream.
