Hodgepodge Beef Stew
- 4 cup water
- 1 packages good seasons Italian dressing
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp beef base
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 1/2 lb beef stew cubes cut into smaller bites
- 1 1/2 lb semi frozen cube steak diced into bite size pieces
- 4 large potatoes, cubed
- 1 bag of steam fresh carrots, crinkle cut
- 1 bag Italian vegetables
- 1 can butter beans, do not drain
- 1 Half large onion, diced
- Add all ingredients listed for the broth to crockpot except cornstarch.
- Stir thoroughly.
- In a measuring cup, mix cornstarch & a small amount of broth liquid until a soupy paste.
- Add to crockpot.
- Add all main ingredients to crockpot listed.
- Stir to mix.
- Cover and cook on high for 6 hours.
