Beef & Kraut Sandwiches
- 8 Bolio Rolls Or Other Hard Rolls
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1 Onion, Diced
- 16 ounces, weight Sweet Kraut, Drained
- 12 ounces, weight Cheese, Shredded
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1 dash Salt
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice rolls to make boats, set aside.
- Brown ground beef and diced onion, drain.
- Add drained kraut and stir well to combine.
- Add shredded cheese, seasonings and remove from heat.
- Stir to combine melted cheese with meat and seasonings.
- Divide meat mixture into 8 portions and fill buns.
- Wrap in aluminum foil.
- Bake 10 minutes or until heated through.
- These can be made ahead and frozen.
