Crockpot Spanish Pork Chops
- 1 package pork chops
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- to taste Salt and Pepper
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 Tbsp Chili power
- 2 Tbsp Cumin powder
- Oil pan till it's warm to hot.
- Add garlic into pan.
- Put floured chops into pan and fry untill tan on both sides (chops will not be fully cooked)
- Put chops with cooked garlic in the crockpot.
- In a bowl combine remaining ingreds.
- Stir untill all the spices are blended with tomato sauce.
- (if you like a more pungent taste add more spices as you like).
- Pour tomato mixture on top of chops.
- Be sure that all chops are covered.
- Put crockpot on low and clover
- Cook about 4 hours.
- Serve with white rice (put sauce on rice).
- Or Spanish rice on the side.
- Corn or Flour tortillas go great with this dish.
- If you don't have a crockpot you can cook in a cover pan and let simmer for 1 1/2 hour on low/med heat.
- Crockpot will give you more tender chops.
