Homemade Ice Cream Recipe
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Large eggs
- 2 1/2 quarts. lowfat milk, if fruit is used only use 2 quarts. lowfat milk
- 1 sm. can evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- Mix sugar and Large eggs in large container.
- Add in canned lowfat milk (if fruit is used, add in now).
- Next add in one qt lowfat milk and stir well.
- Then add in vanilla.
- Add in remaining lowfat milk.
- Pour into large freeze-safe container.
- Leave 2 to 2 1/2 inches at top for ice cream to expand as it freezes.
- Makes 4 qts of ice cream.
