Malai Paneer (creamy cottage cheese gravy)
- 250 grams Cottage Cheese
- 2 cup Skimmed Milk
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cream
- 1 Onion paste.. (big size)
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Ginger paste
- 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Cut the Cottage cheese in cubes.
- Keep aside.
- Take a heavy bottom pan.. Heat oil..
- Temper the bay leaf.
- Add garlic paste.. Saute for two minutes, Now add onion paste.. Cook for two minutes.. Now add ginger paste., tomato puree.. Cook for five-minute.. Stir continuously..
- Now add all dry spices except garam masala.
- Stir continuously.
- Now spices start to release oil.. Now pour milk gradually.
- Mix well.. Add cheese cubes.
- Let it boil.. Don't make much thick or runny gravy.
- Take out.
- Sprinkle garam masala.. Then pour the cream n garnish with cilantro.. Cover the lid.
- After five minutes open the lid..
- Enjoy with pita bread or Indian flat bread or Jeera rice.
