Red Sausage Aliens for Bento
- 1 small red wiener sausage
- 1 Nori seaweed
- Cut a sausage in half diagonally.
- Slice off a circular part of the skin to make a face.
- Make 3 cuts, as shown in the diagram, to create the arms and legs.
- It's easiest to use a small pair of scissors to make the cuts.
- Cook in the toaster oven until the arms and legs open up a bit.
- Or you can boil them and the arms and legs will curl up even more.
- Whichever way you want.
- Stick on a face cut out of nori seaweed.
- I tried sitting my martian on a meatball.
- I made the cut for his legs too deep though, so he's rather long-legged...
- I made demon martians for Setsubun by giving them horns made out of fried spaghetti.
- These martians are going back home through a tunnel of white rice.
- Say goodbye with this "Bye Bye Sausage Martian Bento"
- I made this lunch to support my friend who was performing at a concert.
- The martian has a guitar and everything.
- Can you see it?
- I made this for my friend who often sings and plays the ukelele for me.
- You can't really see the ukulele though.
