Chocolate Pecan (Or Walnut) Pie

  1. In large bowl, stir together 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 1 1/2 cups Karo Light corn syrup, 4 (1 oz.)
  2. squares of melted, semi-sweet chocolate, 2 tablespoons melted margarine, 2 tablespoons corn starch, 1 teaspoons vanilla and 1/8 teaspoons salt.
  3. Stir in 1 cup chopped nuts.
  4. Pour into an unbaked 9 pie pastry shell.
  5. Bake in 350 oven for 45 minutes (do not overbake.
  6. Filling should be slightly less set in center.)
  7. Cool.
