Heritage Day Apple Pie Recipe
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 egg
- Squirt of lemon juice
- Prebaked 9" pie shell
- Dash of cinnamon
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 c. sliced & peeled tart baking apples
- Mix together sugar, flour and cinnamon.
- Add in lowfat sour cream, egg, vanilla and lemon juice.
- Fold apples into mix.
- Pour into 9" prebaked pie shell.
- Combine nuts and brown sugar topping.
- Top pie with mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 65 min till golden.
