Easy Cold-Brewed Coffee

  1. Add 3-1/2 cups water to coffee grounds in 2-qt.
  2. pitcher; stir until dissolved.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap; let stand at room temperature 12 hours.
  4. Line fine-mesh strainer with coffee filter; place over medium bowl.
  5. Slowly pour coffee, in small batches, through filter; let stand until all the coffee is strained.
  6. Discard grounds.
  7. Return strained coffee to pitcher.
  8. Refrigerate 2 hours or until chilled.
  9. Add remaining water to coffee in pitcher just before serving; stir.
  10. Serve in ice-filled glasses.
