Pizza Porcupine Patties

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Reserve 1 cup of the tomato sauce.
  3. Mix remaining sauce, the ground beef, rice, chilies, salt, garlic salt and oregano.
  4. Shape into 6 patties (1/2-inch thick).
  5. Place in ungreased baking pan (13 x 9 x 2-inches).
  6. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes.
  7. Remove patties from oven; drain.
  8. Dissolve instant bouillon in boiling water; stir in reserved tomato sauce.
  9. Pour tomato sauce mixture over patties.
  10. Cover and bake 35 minutes. Spoon tomato sauce over patties; sprinkle with cheese.
  11. Bake, uncovered, until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
  12. Makes 6 servings.
