Summer Sausage Pasta
- 1 pd. Summer Sausage
- 1 1/2 cup diced onions
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 1 can rotel tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 cup Montery Cheese shredded
- 4 oz penne
- 2 clove of garlic
- In a med high skilet brown the sausage and onion, lightly in the oil
- Add the garlic and stir around until fragrant about 3 min.
- Add the uncooked penne to the skillet
- Then add the tomatoes, broth, and heavy cream.
- Bring to a boil then reduce to med low and cover and let cook until tender about 20min.
- Add half the cheese to the dish and stir, then place the remainder on the top and let get melted.
- Enjoy!
