Polenta Pasticciata
- 500 g prepared polenta (cold and sliced 1 cm thick)
- 300 ml bechamel sauce
- 200 g gorgonzola (crumbled)
- 100 g bacon, slices (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons grana padano, grated or 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1 -2 sage leaf (chopped)
- salt and pepper
- Butter a terrine and make a layer of polenta on the bottom.
- cover this with a layer of bechamel, some crumbled gorgonzola and some chopped pancetta.
- Keep on layering, ending up with bacon pieces on top.
- Add the Grana Padano, chopped sage leaf and pepper on top and bake at 180 degrees C for 10-15 minutes.
- *I grill it for a few more minutes because I like it rather browned.
