Au Gratin Hash Brown Casserole
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 3/4 cup margarine, melted and divided
- 3 tbsp. dried minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. (2 lb.) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 2-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups Durkee french fried onions
- In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, 1/2 cup margarine, minced onion and salt.
- Stir in potatoes and cheese.
- Transfer to a greased casserole.
- Toss Durkee french fried onions with remaining margarine.
- Sprinkle mixture over potatoes.
- Bake, uncovered at 350F for about an hour.
