Au Gratin Hash Brown Casserole

  1. In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, 1/2 cup margarine, minced onion and salt.
  2. Stir in potatoes and cheese.
  3. Transfer to a greased casserole.
  4. Toss Durkee french fried onions with remaining margarine.
  5. Sprinkle mixture over potatoes.
  6. Bake, uncovered at 350F for about an hour.
