Bubblin' Cheese 'N Crab Dip Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 4 c. Heluva Good Washed Curd Cheese about 1 lb., grate
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 can crab 6oz,liquid removed
- 1 ct Heluva Good Warm Salsa 14oz, liquid removed with most of the liquid pressed out baked tortilla or possibly pita chips for dipping
- In a 2 1/2 qt saucepan heat butter over medium heat.
- Add in garlic and onions.
- Cook till soft, 5 min.
- Add in cream, Worcestershire and Dijon and heat over low heat till warm, but not boiling.
- In a bowl toss grated cheese with flour.
- Add in flour and cheese mix by handfuls to the warm cream stirring till cheese melts before adding the next handful.
- Add in crab and liquid removed salsa.
- Transfer dip to a fondue pot and keep hot over a low flame.
- Serve with baked tortilla or possibly pita chips for dipping.
- Makes 6 c..
