Paella Recipe
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp saffron
- 1 quart chicken broth
- 1 cups ruce
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp minced parsley
- 2 cups edemame beans
- 2 large tomatoes cut into wedges
- 1 green pepper, diced
- Then you can add any meats you want
- shrimp
- chicken
- fish (cod works well)
- sausage
- Cook chicken/sausage ahead
- Saute onion in olive oil with paprika ~5 min
- Add garlic and saffron
- Add 1 Tbsp broth
- Add meat if cooked before
- Add rice and stir to coat in oil
- Slowly add remaining broth, salt, parsley and beans
- Bring to boil and simmer until rice is barely tender ~15 min
- Add fish and remaining ingredients
- Cook until rice and shrimp are cooked
- Can add more broth if it seems to dry
